Workshops on Senedd
We offer workshops on how to influence the Senedd and what you can do to effectively engage with Senedd members. We can tailor any workshop to ensure that your organization’s needs and requirements are prioritized. We can give you expert advice on what works, based on years of experience working with the Senedd and elected representatives. We can do small group workshops or larger scale ones.
Workshops on Political Campaigning
At heart, we are campaigners. When Bethan was elected, her team loved nothing more than supporting community groups/movements passionate about changing the Wales we live in, to raise their voices, and make a difference.
1 To 1 Sessions Or Workshops
We can provide 1 to 1 workshops with Community Leaders / Charity CEOs / staff members leading on specific campaigns, on how to involve your workforce in campaigning and influencing, giving you the tools to incorporate and invigorate staff, whether it’s organizing a specific event or activity to engage with the community or elected representatives. We’re here to support you along the way.
Communication Training
We can provide training on how to conduct media interviews effectively, how to prepare for different types of media interviews, ideas on what to say, how to respond to journalists’ questions. We can also give advice on social media, and engagement.
Individual Advocacy Support
If you are an individual who wants to start a campaign or lobby your MS, we can advise you on what to do and which path to take. We can be an advocate for you in formal meetings, if we are given permission to be present and advocate on your behalf/support you.
Research / Policy
We can offer your organization the opportunity to develop your policy in a specific area. We can be commissioned to carry out a piece of work for you, with agreed work terms and timelines. We can support the work of carrying out the task at hand, and how it is communicated. We can create briefs on issues related to your organizational interests.
Media Interviews
Bethan is available to take part in political panels and talk shows, as well as appear on the radio on specific topics of interest.
Content Creation
We have the skills to create audio content for podcasts and radio – editing and producing packages and features.
Campaign Ideas & Plans
We can advise you on your current ideas or strategies, and support you in implementing your vision.
Article Writing
We are available to write columns for newspapers or online, as well as for periodicals and magazines.
Guest Speaker
Bethan is available as a guest speaker to discuss a range of issues. Options such as after-dinner speaking for charities or organizations, at conferences or seminars as part of broader panel discussions. Bethan can chair events, and she is available to be an independent chair to facilitate organizational discussions either internally or externally.
Mentoring
If you are an elected politician or candidate, we can offer mentoring on various issues. For example, what is expected of you when standing for election, building confidence in public speaking and communication, building resilience, how to work on committees, writing and delivering speeches, dealing with difficult people on social media/challenging issues related to casework, advocating for constituents in meetings. Everything will be confidential, and can be arranged on a case-by-case basis, or in a tailored package of 3 sessions or more so that you see progression in the improvement. No one goes to a Personal Trainer once! See us as your political personal trainer for when you have set goals in sight, and for when you need direct and effective support.
